The Wood-Mizer LT15 series offers versatile and affordable sawmills perfect for various timber processing needs. Combining robust construction with user-friendly features, the LT15 is perfect for start-up sawmilling businesses looking to produce their own sawn timber efficiently and cost-effectively. These sawmills are also wellsuited for hobbyists such as woodworkers, farmers, furniture makers, and builders.
LT15START
The LT15START is an entry-level sawmill designed for straightforward timber processing. It handles logs up to 70 cm in diameter and 5.4 m long with the standard bed, extendable with bed extensions for cutting longer logs. Featuring push feed and a manual crank for repositioning the blade, it offers simplicity and reliability.
The 11 kW electric motor on the LT15START provides ample power to cut all wood types, thanks to thin-kerf blades that require minimal energy. For those preferring a petrol engine, a 14 HP option is also available. Logs are secured using three log clamps and six adjustable backstops, while the head height is precisely positioned with a hand crank. Cutting is achieved by pushing the sawmill head along the log, with a water tank supplying blade lubrication for optimal performance and cleanliness.
LT15CLASSIC
The LT15CLASSIC builds on the strengths of the LT15START, offering additional features for enhanced versatility. It also cuts logs up to 70 cm in diameter and 5.4 m long, with the option to extend the bed length. The LT15CLASSIC includes a more powerful motor option and improved log handling features. Both models feature an adjustable blade guide arm to support various material sizes and easy blade tension adjustment for consistent cutting. Optional accessories, such as log loading ramps with spring-loaded brackets and additional bed extensions, make handling and processing larger logs even more convenient.
